To put it bluntly, Meenah is one huge bitch -- or if you want to get on her good side, a "huge beach". She made her debut in the comic when she tried to kill a sleeping Roxy Lalonde for no other reason than "for the halibut", an action that was particularly telling of the kind of troll she is. There was a reason why she wasn't very popular among her fellow Sgrub players -- she's antagonistic to a nearly extreme level, crass, has an ego bigger than Beforus and seemingly doesn't care for anyone other than herself. And to an extent? It's all true. She's upfront about her feelings and honestly does not give a damn if she offends anyone, and why should she? To Meenah, she is the top dog in everything, with a nearly unwavering sense of self-confidence which is only fueled by her social status on Beforus (even when admitting that she failed at something, she still has to tack on "gorgeous" and "sexy" before even saying the word "failure"), having been the heiress to the throne at one point. It was this that enabled her into declaring herself leader of her group of "friends" when they began their game of Sgrub, and which eventually lead to her getting them all killed, but that will be expanded upon later.

As mentioned previously, Meenah seems to have a knack for violence, something that made her a fish out of water within the passive society of Beforus. If there's one thing Meenah can't stand, it's passiveness -- she thrives on initiative and is always looking to do something, most of the time violent. In fact, Meenah holds the utmost admiration for her post-scratch self -- basically, herself in another universe -- who had grown up to rule Alternia with an iron fist, cultivating the Troll race into one of hardened warriors and nearly ruling the entire galaxy. This sort of mentality isn't only reserved for herself; she admires anyone who shows a bit of backbone and is willing to get things done, and disdain for anyone who doesn't. She can be incredibly insensitive to those she considers weak, but surprisingly won't abandon them, instead trying to make them stronger. While this might seem admirable at first, considering Meenah? It really isn't. Her 'technique' typically consists of bullying and attempted murder, and while it did work in making at least one troll stronger, said troll also broke her ex-boyfriend's back and proceeded to murder Meenah after a bloody and violent fight.

In general, Meenah is more likely to take the violent path over the peaceful -- mostly because it's the fastest and most exciting. She's quick to make threats and murder attempts, and usually uses violence to solve her problems, such as when she encountered Vriska in the dreambubbles and challenged her to a fight over the ghost army (instead of just talking like Aranea suggested). She's stubborn and is severely lacking in patience, which makes her an oddity among her friends who Meenah claims to "fucking hate" so much. Meenah possesses an unwillingness to lay down and accept things, perhaps the biggest example of this being when her game session became a doomed one. Having decided to scratch their session -- they would basically reset their universe -- Meenah decided she didn't like the idea of being erased, which was one of the results of being scratched. So, what did she do? She killed everyone. With a bomb. And didn't tell anyone beforehand. She was in fact incredibly thrilled when she found she had died, because her plan had worked. Sure, she was dead, but she had come out on top again and that was all that really mattered to her. She also seems to have little to no fear of facing Lord English, despite the fact that the green brute can actually kill ghosts and Meenah is standing on her last leg, instead finding it thrilling to have an opportunity to take down the big baddie.

Meenah can be pretty hypocritical at times, making no secret of how much she admires her post-scratch self. However, when Cronus confronted her with the fact it was the Condesce who imprisons Mituna's post-scratch self and basically turns him into a living ship engine, Meenah grows quiet and and tries to side-step the topic, saying something along the lines of how she's sure the Condesce did a good job taking care of Mituna. Interesting enough, while Meenah does struggle to admit to her flaws, her hesitance might also suggest she doesn't necessarily agree with everything the Condesce did and is in fact not a totally horrible person. Meenah also still holds on to her title as heiress despite the fact that she abdicated from the throne and fled to the moon. Funny enough, Meenah only ditched her throne because she thought having to take care of her subjects was too boring and didn't want to deal with the responsibility.

Astonishingly, Meenah does have something of a softer side to her, albeit one would either have to use fish puns or have the same drive she does in order to see it. In particular she's rather protective of her fish puns -- if someone she genuinely likes uses them, she becomes giddy with excitement, having told Aranea that she loved her (on the other hand, if she dislikes a person and they use fish puns she's likely to try to stick her 2x3dent in them, see Cronus). She's fond of gossiping, having nearly been tempted into talking about who had been fucking who the past few billions of years with Meulin before remembering she had a job to do. She also defended Mituna from Cronus, and has expressed fondness for Karkat, albeit only because he seems to be as sick of everyone else's shit as much as she is. Meenah has also stated that she doesn't care about the hemospectrum or its rules -- ironically while still keeping the title of heiress -- something that her post-scratch self strictly enforced.
